"Band VI - phthalo green light".
Oil on canvas.

Surprisingly the grey is actually a broken brown, and the blue a broken green. I love the flicks on the end of the bottom lines.

Naples yellow bottom is applied in an unusual manner, providing an interesting contrast with the thin lines and the larger brushed areas. The area of ultramarine undulates between thick brush or shining boldly on it's broken yellow base.

I am very pleased with this piece - varied and visually interesting application, good but united colour range. A successful and pleasing painting.
